  • 400 g Linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter

  • 200 g Ham, diced
  • 1.5 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 300 ml Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 100 ml Heavy cream
  • 50 g Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 liters Water
  • 1 tbsp Salt for pasta water

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of salt. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they release their moisture and turn golden brown.
