  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 oz shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving 1 cup of the pasta water, and set it aside.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil and melt the butter.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
