  • 400 grams Linguine
  • 6 stalks Green onions (scallions), finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 50 grams Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 0.5 cup Pasta water

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
