Ingredients

  • 400 grams linguine pasta
  • 300 grams broccoli florets
  • 250 grams cherry tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 units garlic cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoons red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 50 grams parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

Step 2

While the pasta cooks, prepare the vegetables. Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets and halve the cherry tomatoes. Mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red chili flakes, cooking for 1 minute or until fragrant.

Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for 4–5 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender.
