Ingredients

  • 6 pieces large eggs
  • 12 pieces small cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoons paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Place the eggs in a single layer in a large saucepan and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat, then cover, remove from heat, and let the eggs sit for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Carefully transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool completely. Once cool, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.

Step 3

Using a small spoon, gently scoop out the yolks and place them in a medium mixing bowl. Arrange the egg whites on a serving platter.

Step 4

Mash the egg yolks with a fork until smooth. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dill, salt, and black pepper to the yolks. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Step 5

Finely chop 6 of the shrimp and fold them into the yolk mixture, reserving the remaining shrimp for garnish.

Step 6

Using a small spoon or piping bag, fill each egg white half with the shrimp and yolk mixture.

Step 7

Lightly sprinkle paprika over the stuffed eggs for garnish, then place one whole shrimp onto each egg half.

Step 8

Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy this flavorful appetizer!
