Ingredients

  • 12 oz Elbow macaroni (or other short pasta)
  • 1 lb Cooked shrimp (peeled, deveined, and chopped)
  • 8 oz Imitation crab meat (or real crab, shredded)
  • 1 cup Celery (chopped)
  • 0.5 cup Red bell pepper (diced)
  • 0.25 cup Red onion (finely diced)
  • 1 cup Frozen peas (thawed)
  • 0.75 cup Mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Cook the elbow macaroni in salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool it down. Set aside.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, imitation crab meat, celery, red bell pepper, red onion, and thawed peas.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, prepare the dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth and fully combined.

Step 4

Add the cooled pasta to the seafood and vegetable mixture in the large mixing bowl.

Step 5

Pour the dressing over the pasta and seafood mixture and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.

Step 6

Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top and gently mix again. Adjust seasonings to taste, if necessary.

Step 7

Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.

Step 8

Before serving, give the salad a gentle stir and garnish with additional parsley, if desired. Enjoy!
