Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces crab meat
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 stalks green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, soften the cream cheese by leaving it at room temperature or microwaving for 15 seconds.

Step 3

Gently fold in the crab meat, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Step 4

Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean work surface. Spread an even layer of the crab mixture over the tortilla, making sure to reach all edges.

Step 5

Roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape, starting from one edge. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.

Step 6

Using a sharp knife, slice each tortilla roll into approximately 1-inch pieces to create pinwheels.

Step 7

Place the pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up. Brush the tops lightly with melted butter.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden and crisp.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Optional: garnish with additional chopped green onions for presentation.
