Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 8 oz Imitation crab meat
  • 3 stalks Green onions
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 24 pieces Wonton wrappers
  • 0 as needed Cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a medium mixing bowl, soften cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature or microwaving for 15 seconds.

Step 3

Finely chop the imitation crab meat and green onions, then add them to the bowl with the cream cheese.

Step 4

Stir in the garlic powder and soy sauce. Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined and creamy.

Step 5

On a clean work surface, lay out the wonton wrappers. Place about 1 teaspoon of the crab mixture in the center of each wrapper.

Step 6

Lightly wet the edges of the wonton wrapper with water using your finger or a small pastry brush.

Step 7

Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle, pressing the edges together firmly to seal. Optionally, bring the two opposite points together and pinch to form a more traditional rangoon shape.

Step 8

Place the filled wontons on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray to help them crisp up in the oven.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the wontons are golden brown and crispy.

Step 10

Serve immediately with sweet and sour sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
