Ingredients

  • 4 whole Lemons
  • 10 leaves Fresh mint leaves
  • 100 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1 liters Water
  • 8 pieces Ice cubes
  • 1 pinch Salt

Directions

Step 1

Wash the lemons thoroughly under cold water, then cut them into quarters.

Step 2

Place the lemon quarters, sugar, mint leaves, and a pinch of salt into a blender.

Step 3

Add half of the water (500 mL) to the blender and blend on high speed for about 1-2 minutes until the ingredients are well combined and the sugar is dissolved.

Step 4

Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the lemon pulp and mint residue.

Step 5

Add the remaining 500 mL of water to the pitcher and stir well to combine.

Step 6

Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more sugar, mixing until dissolved.

Step 7

Add ice cubes to the pitcher and stir gently to chill the limoonada.
