  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice (for pico de gallo)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt (for pico de gallo)
  • 4 pieces Burger buns
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 avocado Avocado slices (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro, minced garlic, lime zest, lime juice, ground cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix gently but thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties, about 1-inch thick.
