Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet or saucepan, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the bacon grease in the pan, discarding the rest.

Add the butter to the reserved bacon grease in the pan and melt it over medium heat.
