  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness (about 1/2 inch thick) for even cooking. Pat them dry with paper towels.

Step 2

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C). Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
