Ingredients

  • 8 oz Egg fettuccine
  • 8 oz Spinach fettuccine
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 tsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 4 oz Prosciutto, thinly sliced and chopped
  • 1 cup Frozen peas, thawed
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Step 2

Add the egg fettuccine and spinach fettuccine to the boiling water and cook per the package instructions until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Step 3

While the pasta cooks, melt the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 4

Add the heavy cream to the skillet and stir frequently, allowing it to slightly thicken, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 5

Lower the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and salt. Continue stirring until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.

Step 6

Mix in the chopped prosciutto and thawed peas. Cook for another 2 minutes, letting the ingredients warm through.

Step 7

Drain the cooked pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water. Add the pasta directly to the skillet with the sauce.

Step 8

Toss the pasta to coat evenly with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add the reserved pasta water a little at a time to achieve the desired consistency.

Step 9

Taste and adjust salt and pepper if needed.

Step 10

Serve the pasta warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired. Enjoy immediately!
