Ingredients

  • 2 cups Kale leaves
  • 2 cups Spinach leaves
  • 1 medium Green apple
  • 1 small Cucumber
  • 2 Celery stalks
  • 1 small Lemon
  • 1 inch piece Ginger root
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 cubes Ice cubes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Wash all the fruits and vegetables thoroughly under running water and pat them dry with a clean towel.

Step 2

Trim the kale and spinach leaves if needed, removing any tough stems.

Step 3

Core the green apple and cut it into smaller pieces for easier blending.

Step 4

Slice the cucumber into chunks and chop the celery stalks into smaller pieces.

Step 5

Cut the lemon in half and remove the seeds. Optionally, you can peel it for a milder flavor.

Step 6

Peel the ginger root and cut it into smaller pieces.

Step 7

Add the kale, spinach, green apple, cucumber, celery, lemon, and ginger into the blender.

Step 8

Pour in the water to help with the blending process.

Step 9

Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes smooth and well-combined. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add more water as needed.

Step 10

For a silky juice, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag into a large bowl, pressing out as much liquid as possible. Skip this step if you like a pulpy texture.

Step 11

Pour the juice into glasses over ice cubes if using, and serve immediately for the freshest flavor.
