Ingredients

  • 2 cups Pumpkin puree
  • 14 ounces Sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 pieces Large eggs
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 piece 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 0 Whipped cream (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.

Step 3

Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt to the mixture. Stir well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.

Step 4

Place the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish if not already prepped. Trim and crimp the edges as desired.

Step 5

Pour the pumpkin filling into the prepared pie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes at 425°F (220°C).

Step 7

Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

Step 8

Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool completely on a wire rack (about 2 hours). The pie will set further as it cools.

Step 9

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving for the best texture.

Step 10

Serve with whipped cream if desired, and enjoy!
