Ingredients

  • 6 cups Water
  • 4 pieces Black tea bags
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 4 pieces Fresh lemons (for juice)
  • 2 cups Ice cubes
  • 1 lemon Fresh lemon slices (for garnish)
  • 4 sprigs Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot.

Step 2

Remove the pot from heat and steep the black tea bags in the hot water for 5 minutes.

While the tea is steeping, squeeze the fresh lemons to extract about 1 cup of lemon juice. Strain the juice to remove any seeds or pulp, if desired.
