Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 pieces lemon slices

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 3

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside on a plate.
