Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cups chicken broth
  • 0.5 cups heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Place the flour in a shallow bowl and dredge each chicken breast in the flour, lightly coating both sides.

Add olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
