Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 sprigs Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 1 large Lemon
  • 2 teaspoons Honey (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 bag Black tea bag (optional, for a stronger flavor)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the 2 cups of water to a gentle boil over medium heat.

Step 2

While the water is heating, rinse the fresh rosemary sprigs under cold water to remove any dirt.

Step 3

Slice the lemon in half. From one half, cut thin slices for garnish and set them aside. Squeeze the juice from the other half into a small bowl or directly into the saucepan.

Step 4

Once the water has boiled, reduce the heat to low and add the rosemary sprigs and lemon juice to the saucepan. Let it simmer gently for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

If you’d like a stronger tea, add one black tea bag to the saucepan and steep it for 3-5 minutes, depending on your taste preference.
