Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Zest the lemon and squeeze out the juice, setting both aside separately.
Finely chop the fresh rosemary and mince the garlic cloves.
In a small bowl, mix the lemon zest, rosemary, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and rub them thoroughly with the seasoning mixture.
