  • 3 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Whole milk
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (for glaze)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease two 9x5-inch loaf pans or line them with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and poppy seeds.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in the Amish Friendship Bread starter, milk, vegetable oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract.
