  • 1 teaspoon Lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Pepper

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, combine the water and rice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Once the water begins to boil, reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan with a tight-fitting lid, and let the rice simmer for 15 minutes.
