Ingredients

  • 4 lbs Country-style pork ribs
  • 0.25 cups Lemon juice
  • 0.25 cups Lime juice
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 units Garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 1 tsp Lime zest

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the lemon juice, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Whisk until well incorporated.

Step 2

Place the country-style pork ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Step 3

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Step 4

Remove the ribs from the marinade and shake off any excess liquid. Reserve the marinade for later use.

Step 5

Place the ribs in a single layer in a large baking dish or roasting pan. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil to retain moisture while cooking.

Step 6

Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 90 minutes.

Step 7

While the ribs are baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring it to a simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, to make a glaze. This step ensures the marinade is safe to use as it will boil out any raw meat juices.

Step 8

After 90 minutes of baking, remove the ribs from the oven and uncover them. Brush them generously with the prepared glaze.

Step 9

Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Return the ribs to the oven and bake for an additional 20–30 minutes, basting them with more glaze halfway through, until they develop a rich caramelized crust.

Step 10

Remove the ribs from the oven and allow them to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 11

Sprinkle the ribs with chopped parsley, lemon zest, and lime zest for a fresh finishing touch.

Step 12

Serve warm with your choice of sides such as mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or grilled vegetables. Enjoy!
