  • 4 None Egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the granulated sugar, cornstarch, and all-purpose flour to remove any lumps.

Gradually add the water to the saucepan, whisking continuously to combine with the dry ingredients.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook the mixture, stirring constantly, until it thickens and starts to bubble. This should take about 6-8 minutes.
