Ingredients

  • 12 oz Bow tie pasta (farfalle)
  • 2 pieces Chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 whole Lemon, juice and zest
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bow tie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper on both sides.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips.

Step 4

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
