  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (for glaze)
  • 0.5 teaspoons lemon zest (for garnish, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Whisk the granulated sugar into the melted butter until well combined.
