  • 450 grams asparagus
  • 300 grams carrots
  • 1 whole lemon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 60 milliliters water

Directions

Step 1

Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and cut the spears into 5 cm pieces.

Step 2

Peel the carrots and slice them into thin diagonal rounds about 0.5 cm thick.

Step 3

Finely mince the garlic cloves and zest the lemon. Set the zest aside, then juice the lemon into a small bowl.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
