Ingredients

  • 16 oz can refried beans
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup sliced black olives
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 bag tortilla chips

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the refried beans and taco seasoning. Mix well until fully incorporated. Spread the mixture as an even layer at the bottom of a 9x13 glass serving dish or a large round platter.

Step 2

In another bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture evenly over the refried beans as the second layer.

Step 3

Spread the guacamole evenly over the cream cheese layer to form the third layer.

Step 4

Spoon and spread the salsa over the guacamole as the fourth layer. Ensure the salsa is on the thicker side to prevent excess liquid seeping into the layers below.

Step 5

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the salsa layer to form the fifth layer.

Step 6

Top the cheese layer with an even layer of chopped tomatoes for the sixth layer.

Step 7

Finish off the dip by sprinkling the sliced black olives and chopped green onions evenly over the top as the seventh layer.

Step 8

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Step 9

Serve the layered Mexican dip chilled with tortilla chips for dipping. Enjoy!
