Ingredients

  • 200 grams graham crackers
  • 100 grams unsalted butter
  • 250 grams cream cheese
  • 100 grams powdered sugar
  • 150 milliliters heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 packet orange gelatin powder
  • 250 milliliters boiling water
  • 100 milliliters cold water
  • 4 pieces orange segments (optional, for garnish)
  • 4 leaves mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a plastic bag and rolling with a rolling pin.

Step 2

Melt the unsalted butter over low heat and combine it with the graham cracker crumbs until the mixture resembles wet sand.

Step 3

Press the graham cracker mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch square baking dish or similar dish to create the crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the next layers.

Step 4

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.

Step 5

Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.

Step 6

Add the orange zest, lemon zest, fresh orange juice, and fresh lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well incorporated.

Step 7

Spread the cream cheese layer evenly over the chilled graham cracker crust. Return to the refrigerator to set while preparing the gelatin layer.

Step 8

Dissolve the orange gelatin powder in the boiling water in a medium bowl, stirring continuously until fully dissolved.

Step 9

Add the cold water to the gelatin mixture and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature but not set, about 15-20 minutes.

Step 10

Pour the cooled gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer and return the dish to the refrigerator. Allow to chill for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.

Step 11

Once ready to serve, optionally garnish with fresh orange segments and mint leaves for a decorative touch.

Step 12

Slice into squares or rectangles and serve chilled. Enjoy the refreshing blend of citrus flavors!
