Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground lamb
  • 50 g Breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 12 Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 200 g Greek yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp Fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 0.25 tsp Salt (for dip)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, smoked paprika, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion around a wooden skewer to form elongated lamb sticks.

Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat and coat the surface with olive oil.

Place the lamb sticks on the pan and cook for approximately 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides and cooked through.

While the lamb sticks are cooking, prepare the herb yoghurt dip. In a small mixing bowl, combine the Greek yoghurt, chopped mint leaves, chopped dill, lemon juice, honey, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
