Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground lamb
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped

  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 150 grams Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 100 grams Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 pieces Bread rolls (preferably soft sub rolls or brioche buns)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, softened

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.

Step 2

Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until translucent.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in the ground lamb and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks. This should take about 8-10 minutes.

Once the lamb has released its juices and started to brown, drain any excess fat from the skillet.
