  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground coriander
  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground cumin
  • 1 stick Cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoons Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Step 2

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves. Add the garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Finely chop the tomatoes and add them to the saucepan. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes soften and start to break down.
