Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 stalks Green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Grated ginger
  • 24 pieces Wonton wrappers
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup Sweet chili sauce (for dipping)

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, soy sauce, green onions, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well blended.

Step 2

Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture into the center of the wrapper.

Step 3

Lightly moisten the edges of the wrapper with water using your fingertip. Fold the wonton in half to form a triangle, pressing the edges firmly to seal. Repeat with the remaining filling and wrappers.

Step 4

In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat to 350°F (175°C).

Step 5

Carefully place the wontons in the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

Step 6

Serve the wontons warm with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
