Ingredients

  • 145 grams All-purpose flour

  • 150 grams Unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 120 grams Light brown sugar
  • 50 grams Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoons Fine sea salt
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 120 grams Bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 pinches Fleur de sel or flaky sea salt (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and sea salt using an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
