  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 3 tablespoons Ground almonds
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato puree
  • 200 milliliters Coconut milk
  • 100 milliliters Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the vegetable oil or ghee in a large pan over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the ground coriander, cumin, turmeric, garam masala, and paprika, stirring constantly to toast the spices for 1 minute.
