Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 0.5 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 cups vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 stalks green onions

Directions

Step 1

Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings thoroughly with paper towels. Separate the drumettes and wingettes if not already done.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, mix the cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss the chicken wings in the mixture until evenly coated.
