Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground chicken
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger
  • 2 stalks Green onion
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 50 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Finely mince the garlic and ginger, and thinly slice the green onion.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, garlic, ginger, green onion, soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, breadcrumbs, and egg.

Step 3

Season the mixture with salt and black pepper, then mix thoroughly with your hands or a spatula until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Shape the mixture into 8 evenly sized patties, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) thick.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, place the chicken patties in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd them. Cook in batches if necessary.
