Ingredients

  • 500 grams beef sirloin
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 units garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 unit red bell pepper
  • 1 unit carrot
  • 4 units green onions
  • 300 grams egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang paste
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 cup water

Directions

Step 1

Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips and set aside.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, combine 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, finely minced garlic cloves, and grated ginger. Whisk together to form a marinade.

Step 3

Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.

Step 4

While the beef marinates, bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water, then set aside.

Step 5

Slice the red bell pepper and carrot into thin julienne strips. Chop the green onions into 1-inch pieces, separating the white and green parts.

Step 6

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Step 7

Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until just cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.

Step 8

In the same skillet, add the red bell pepper, carrot, and the white parts of the green onions. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.

Step 9

Return the cooked beef to the skillet and add the cooked egg noodles. Pour in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of gochujang paste, and 1 cup of water. Toss everything together to coat evenly in the sauce.

Step 10

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the noodles absorb the sauce and everything is heated through.

Step 11

Turn off the heat and garnish with the green parts of the green onions and toasted sesame seeds.

Step 12

Serve immediately and enjoy your Korean Beef Noodles Seoul Food!
