Ingredients

  • 2 cups Carrot sticks
  • 2 cups Celery sticks
  • 1 pint Cherry tomatoes
  • 1.5 cups Cucumber slices
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 cups Cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup Radishes, sliced
  • 1 cup Blue cheese, crumbled
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Buttermilk
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper, freshly ground

Directions

Step 1

Wash all vegetables thoroughly, pat them dry, and prepare them as specified (e.g., cut carrots and celery into sticks, slice cucumbers, break broccoli and cauliflower into small florets).

Step 2

Arrange all prepared vegetables on a large platter, grouping each type together for a beautiful presentation.

Step 3

To make the blue cheese dip, combine the crumbled blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and buttermilk in a medium bowl. Stir to mix.

Step 4

Add the garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and freshly ground black pepper to the bowl and mix until smooth. If a chunkier texture is preferred, lightly mash the blue cheese with a fork instead of mixing thoroughly.

Step 5

Taste the dip and adjust seasoning if necessary. For a thinner consistency, add an extra tablespoon of buttermilk and stir.

Step 6

Transfer the blue cheese dip to a small serving bowl and place it in the center of the vegetable platter or to the side.

Step 7

Serve immediately or cover the platter and dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
