  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large Onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp Cold water

Directions

Step 1

Season the eye of round roast evenly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the roast on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
