Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning mix
  • 16 ounces Refried beans
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Guacamole
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup Green onions, sliced
  • 1 cup Black olives, sliced
  • 1 bag Tortilla chips

Directions

Step 1

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until fully browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes.

Step 2

Drain excess grease from the cooked beef and return it to the skillet. Stir in the taco seasoning mix along with 2-3 tablespoons of water (follow packet instructions). Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Step 3

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

Step 4

Spread the refried beans evenly over the bottom of a 9x13-inch serving dish or a large shallow platter.

Step 5

Layer the seasoned ground beef on top of the refried beans, spreading evenly.

Step 6

Next, spread the guacamole over the ground beef layer.

Step 7

Spread the cream cheese and sour cream mixture on top of the guacamole as the next layer.

Step 8

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the cream cheese and sour cream layer.

Step 9

Top the cheese with an even layer of diced tomatoes, followed by sliced green onions and black olives.

Step 10

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Step 11

Before serving, set the dip out at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
