Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1 egg, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and dried Italian seasoning.
Mix the meat mixture thoroughly and roll into small, bite-sized meatballs (approximately 1-inch in diameter).
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs in batches until just cooked through. Set aside.
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil, cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and lay them flat on a baking sheet to prevent sticking.
In another bowl, prepare the ricotta mixture by combining the ricotta cheese, 1 egg, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, and fresh parsley. Mix until smooth and set aside.
Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly over the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce, slightly overlapping them. Spread 1/3 of the ricotta mixture on top of the noodles, followed by 1/3 of the meatballs, and 1 cup of marinara sauce. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
Repeat the layers two more times: noodles, ricotta mixture, meatballs, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
Finish with a final layer of noodles, the remaining marinara sauce, and a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese on top is bubbly and golden.
Let the lasagna rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
