  • 3 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 cup Romano cheese, grated
  • 4 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Cook the lasagna noodles in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions. Drain and drizzle with olive oil to prevent sticking.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Drain any excess grease.

For the final layer, top with the last of the meat sauce and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan, Romano, and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil, ensuring it doesn’t touch the cheese layer.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
