Ingredients

  • 3 slices per sandwich Bread (white or whole wheat)
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces Cooked turkey or chicken breast (sliced)
  • 2 slices Cooked bacon
  • 2 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 2 slices Tomato (sliced)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon per slice Butter (optional, for toasting)

Directions

Step 1

Toast all three slices of bread until golden brown. If desired, lightly butter each slice while still warm.

Step 2

Lay the first slice of toasted bread flat on a cutting board and spread 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise evenly on one side.

Step 3

Place one piece of lettuce, one slice of tomato, and half of the turkey or chicken over the mayonnaise. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
