Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 ounces Fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 12 ounces Fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 gallon Water

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add a pinch of salt, and cook the fettuccine pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

Step 3

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from the skillet, let rest for 5 minutes, and then slice into thin strips.
