  • 3 large Egg whites
  • 150 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon White vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Pinch of salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Ensure that the mixing bowl and whisk are completely clean and dry. Any grease or moisture can affect the meringue.

In a large mixing bowl, add the egg whites, salt, and vinegar or lemon juice.

Use an electric mixer to beat the egg whites on medium speed until soft peaks form, about 2-3 minutes.

Gradually add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat. Increase the mixer speed to high and beat until the meringue becomes glossy and forms stiff peaks, approximately 5-7 minutes.
