Ingredients

  • 2 racks Pork baby back ribs
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1.5 cups Barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 3 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Honey

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Step 2

Prepare the ribs by removing the silver skin membrane from the backside of the ribs. Use a knife to loosen one corner, then pull it off with a paper towel for grip.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).

Step 4

Rub the spice mixture generously on both sides of the ribs, ensuring an even coating.

Step 5

Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours.

Step 6

While the ribs are baking, prepare the glaze by mixing the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally. Set aside.

Step 7

After 2.5 hours, carefully remove the ribs from the oven and unwrap them. Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C).

Step 8

Place the ribs on the baking sheet, meat-side up. Brush a generous layer of the prepared glaze over the ribs.

Step 9

Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 20–30 minutes, basting with more glaze every 10 minutes, until the ribs are caramelized and slightly charred.

Step 10

Remove from the oven and let the ribs rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing into individual portions.

Step 11

Serve hot with extra barbecue sauce on the side, if desired. Enjoy your Kindersely Road House Ribs!
