  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.75 cups Whole milk
  • 0.25 cups Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cups Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cups Pepperoni, finely chopped
  • 0.5 cups Pizza sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh basil (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, dried oregano, garlic powder, and sugar until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, milk, and melted butter until smooth.

Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Step 5

Fold in the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and chopped pepperoni. Stir gently until evenly incorporated.
