Ingredients

  • 115 grams Unsalted butter
  • 150 grams Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 150 grams Granulated sugar
  • 50 grams Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 80 grams All-purpose flour
  • 20 grams Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 grams Roasted hazelnuts, chopped
  • 60 milliliters Heavy cream
  • 100 grams Dark chocolate (for glaze)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a mini muffin tin or line it with paper liners.

Step 2

In a heatproof bowl, melt the butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips together over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Let the mixture cool slightly.

Step 3

Whisk in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture.

Step 4

Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition until the batter is smooth and glossy.

Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a small bowl. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture just until combined.
