Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 0.5 cup Plain breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Crumbled feta cheese
  • 0.5 cup Fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup Sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 pieces Burger buns
  • 0 Toppings (lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber slices, etc.)
  • 0 Tzatziki sauce (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, chopped spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until ingredients are just incorporated, being careful not to overwork the mixture.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties about 1/2-inch thick.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Once hot, place the patties in the pan, ensuring they're not overcrowded.

Step 4

Cook the turkey burgers for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the outside is golden brown.

Step 5

While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns (optional).

Step 6

Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding your desired toppings such as lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber slices, and a dollop of tzatziki sauce if using.

Step 7

Serve warm and enjoy!
